Logging onto the Lab PCs

Logins are allowed on any computer in the Digital, Controls, Junior Design and Senior Design labs. To login, you must have a valid EE account. If you do not have an EE account, contact the Sys Admin.

To Login

• Windows XP
  At the login screen choose user. Once logged in, a window will pop up asking you for your EE Network username and password. Please enter them here.
• Windows NT/2000
  Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and read the instructions. The instructions read: "To Login, type the name "user" with NO PASSWORD, and click the OK button". Once logged in, a window will pop up asking you for your EE Network username and password. Please enter them here."
• Windows 95/98/ME
  Type you EE username at the Windows prompt with no passwd. Once logged in, a window will pop up asking you for your EE Network username and password. Please enter them here.
• Linux/Unix
  Type your EE username and password at the prompt.

Accessing your account outside the labs

Logins to "geek.nmt.edu" are allowed from anywhere in the world using SSH.
