SOCORRO, N.M. May 3-5, 2011 - Students enrolled in EE 382 (Introduction to Design) demonstrated their robots to faculty, friends, family and other students.
The demonstrations were the culmination of the one-semester course. Four teams were formed from 17 students, and each team was tasked to build a mobile robot capable of navigating outdoors, traversing given locations and finding objects with different characteristics.
Dr. Aly El-Osery and Mr. Andrew Tubesing were instructors for the course, and agreed that the students had viable, creative and functional solutions to the challenging problem.
