Grading Policy
Dr. Anders M. Jorgensen
(Wednesday)
(Workman 227, anders@nmt.edu)
- The final grade will be the average all the labs.
- The grade for each lab will be the sum of scores on each
section. Grades of each section will be based on the 8 points
mentioned in the instructions, and
doing a good job (if there are 5 sections or parts and you mess up
only one of them this is a 80% or a B, doing an extra credit section
would bring it up to 100% or a A).
- Missed labs can and should be made up. No grades are dropped.
- Doing the extra credit sections can only raise your grade making the
possible score more than 100%.
- You must do all labs to get an A.
- Lab books must be in the 322 slot in the digital lab by 5PM
Tuesday for grading
- If you hand in your lab book late your grade will be reduced by
25% per week or partial week that you are late. However I will allow
you to be late by up to one week twice during the semester without
penalty.
