Open a new schematic in PSPICE, type "E" in the parts window.
Double-click on the symbol to open the attributes window and change the gain to
Type "VDC" in the parts window to obtain a voltage source. Double-click on the
symbol value, which should be 0V, and change it to 1V. Be sure to ground the
negative side of the voltage source, you can do this by typing "GND_EARTH" in the
parts window to obtain a grounding part.
Type "R" in the parts window to retrieve a resistor. One end of the resistor should
connect to the negative input terminal of the voltage controlled voltage source
(V.C.V.S.) and the other should connect to the 1V source.
Use the "GND_EARTH" part and connect the positive input terminal of the V.c.V.S.
Using the same configuration as an inverting amplifier connect the output (positive
terminal) of the V.C.V.S. to another resistor. This resistor should have a value,
with respect to the resistor on the negative input to the V.C.V.S., to produce a
ratio of 10. Connect the other end of the resistor in a feedback loop to the negative
input terminal of the V.C.V.S..
Ground the negative terminal of the V.C.V.S.'s output the same way the other terminals
Save and simulate, then observe the voltage at the input by pressing the "V" button
in the upper-right corner of the window.
