For the last couple days we've been troubleshooting instrumentation issues. We had problems with even simple op-amp circuits not behaving correctly. Inverting op-amp circuits not inverting and not having gain. Unsure of what the problem was we starting resoldering surfboards and triple checking connections. We even swapped out the oscilloscope to see what the source of the problem was. Eventually we found we had a faulty probe. Now that we're confident of the instrumentation, testing of the CMS circuit without the relays and without the instrumentation amplifier is giving this waveform, output in pink, input in yellow (image attatched). The output is consistent with the Multisim oscilloscope (image also attached) output and we will continue testing the circuit, including the relays and the instrumentation amp. Also testing of the VVS will take place tomorrow morning. Power testing will occur once power design is finalized and we think we'll have a method to solder that really small padded surface mount chip. We should be working in the lab tomorrow morning at 9am our time until 11am, I don't know if that time is convenient for Skype, but we'll be available if you would like to get a hold of us. - Matthew Landavazo, Vinayak Ravindran, Chris Yelton
