EE 101: Introduction to Electrical Engineering

Course Description:

This course is intended to famerialize you with basic concepts of analog and digital electronics, binary systems, computer simulations and circuit construction. Lectures and each section of the lab will meet once a week. Concepts learned in the lecture will be applied in the lab to help enfoce what you have learned.

Attendance is very important as well as class participation. You are encouraged to ask questions during the lecture. If you have a question, then most likely 4 or 5 other students have the same question but are afraid to ask it.


Grading:

  • Homeworks : 20%
  • 3 Midterms: 10% each
  • Final: 10%
  • Class Participation: 5%
  • Lab Exercises: 25%
  • Final Report: 10%
