  1. For the figure below, sketch the spectrum of v(n) and y(n) where I = 3.

  2. For the figure below, sketch the spectrum of v(n) and y(n) where D = 3.

  3. For the figure below, sketch the spectrum of x(n), v(n), w(n), y(n) and ya(t).

  4. Problem 10.13. The total decimation factor should be 50. For the filter designs, use a Kaiser window. Determine the length of the window and beta for the window. Also, write down the frequency response of the ideal filter.

  5. Design one-stage and two-stage interpolators to meet the following specifications:
    Original sampling rate:      200 Hz
    Final sampling rate:      10,000 Hz
    Passpand:                 0 < F < 90 Hz
    Transition band:          90 Hz < F < 100 Hz
    Ripple:                   d1 = 0.01; d2 = 0.001
    
    For the filter designs, use a Kaiser window. Determine the length of the window and beta for the window. Also, write down the frequency response of the ideal filter.
