The Robotics Club needs all types of people, we need people to design, build and program the bots. We encourageram the bots. We encourage anyone to join, it doesn't matter what major. We hope to be able to build more than one robot this semester.
We are constructing several robot kits to sell to high schools and other organizations (see link below for more information). These kits not only serve as a profit venture, but also to introduce younger generations to robotics. If you would like to join the robotics club, or have questions, please email the robotics club at robotics@ee.nmt.edu
Our goals for this semester are to build student involvment and design two new robots. In order to do this, we are going to have to do a few fundraisers. We welcome any suggestions and would like to see more students involved this semester.
The contest is coming up soon.
The contest date is April 22, 2001. We have one robot almost built. We
need people to come in and help with various things.
