**Textbook:**
Engineering Circuit Analysis, 7th Edition, by William H. Hayt, Jack Kemmerly, and Steven M. Durbin

**Prerequisites:** Math 132 (Calculus & Analytic Geometry II) and
EE 101 (Introduction to Electrical Engineering)

**Objective:** Develop an understanding of

- physical behavior and mathematical representation of circuit elements (resistors, inductors, capacitors, independent and dependent sources, and ideal operational amplifier);
- techniques for finding all voltages and currents in any interconnection (network) of circuit elements.

**Topics:** Chapters 1-10 of textbook

**Grading:**

- Homework: 15%
- In general, homework will be assigned weekly.
- Collaboration is encouraged, but the work turned in must be your own.

- Three exams: 60%
- Final exam: 25%
