Prerequisites: EE 101 (Introduction to Electrical Engineering) and Math 132 (Calculus & Analytic Geometry II)

Objective: Develop an understanding of

• general behavior and mathematical representation of circuit elements (resistors, inductors, capacitors, independent and dependent sources, and ideal operational amplifier); and
• techniques for finding all voltages and currents in any interconnection (network) of circuit elements.

Topics: Selected from chapters 1-9 of text.

• Homework: 15%
• In general, assigned every other class period.
• Collaboration is encouraged, but the work turned in must be your own.
• Neatly show all work for full credit; write on only one side of paper; staple multiple pages together.
• Due at beginning of class; accepted up to one day late for a 20% reduction in score.
