Dress: Business/Professional, i.e., ties for
guys.
Presentation Order: Group 1 to Group 9 in
ascending order.
Allotted Presentation Time (including questions):
20 minutes.
Presentation Equipment Available: Computer operated
overhead running PowerPoint and regular overhead projector.
Presentation Objective: Inform your supervisors,
sponsors, and colleagues about your design solution to the task
assigned.
Final Presentation Grading:
- Presentation skills (clarity, slide readability, organization,
speaker transition, time limit, eye contact, appropriate
dress, etc.): 50%
- Presentation content (cover all aspects of your design; in the
end your audience should have a very good idea of what your
design consists of and where you ended up with your project):
40%
- Ability to answer questions about design: 10%
Presentation Items:
- Instructor will give overview of project objective prior to
presentations (i.e., show a picture of the maze and say a few
words about what the robot is to do).
- Items to include:
- introduction/presentation overview
- block diagrams to represent overall system design as well
as various subsystems used to meet project objectives
- participation by all group members in presentation with
contributions by each clearly stated
- strengths and weaknesses of your design
- final project status, i.e., what works and what doesn't
- final budget
