Presentation Equipment Available: overhead
projector
Presentation Objective: Present your proposed
design solution to a technical review group in order to justify
your approach as well as solicit input concerning your design.
Design Review Grading:
- Presentation (clarity, slide readability, organization,
speaker transition, time limit, eye contact, appropriate
dress, etc.): 40%
- Justification and feasibility of design: 50%
- Ability to answer questions about design: 10%
Presentation Items:
- Instructor will give overview of project objective prior to
presentations, i.e., show a picture of the maze and say a few
words about what robot is to do.
- Topics to include:
- manpower allocation
- overview of your design
- estimated power budget
- requirements, proposed solutions, and solution justification for each
robot objective (chassis, navigation, line/fire/wall detection,
etc.)
- other solutions considered for each objective and reasons
for their dismissal
- block diagrams good for illustrating how components/systems
are connected
- estimated budget
