Lab Books:

• three-ring binders preferred
• include Table of Contents
• ensure neatness
• entries should be typed or written in pen

Lab Write Up Structure:

1. Pre-lab (work to be done before lab)
2. Introduction (overview of lab including objective, knowledge gained, materials used, etc.)
3. Procedure (steps followed in lab)
4. Results
• schematics, diagrams, figures, calculations, etc. and associated explanation that show objectives were achieved
• answers to questions posed in the lab
5. Conclusion (brief summary of what was accomplished and learned)

Grading:

• each lab will be worth 10 points
• lab books are due by 5:00pm on the Wednesday following the lab session
