Objectives:

• Develop a fundamental understanding of communication systems and the mathematical principles on which such systems are based.
• Obtain a basic understanding of various communication systems currently in use.

• Amplitude Modulation/Demodulation
• Frequency and Phase Modulation/Demodulation
• Pulse Modulation
• Probability and Random Variables
• Effects of Noise in Amplitude, Frequency, and Phase Modulation Systems
• Digital Modulation and Transmission
