**Objectives:**

- Develop a fundamental understanding of communication systems and the mathematical principles on which such systems are based.
- Obtain a basic understanding of various communication systems currently in use.

- Amplitude Modulation/Demodulation
- Frequency and Phase Modulation/Demodulation
- Pulse Modulation
- Probability and Random Variables
- Effects of Noise in Amplitude, Frequency, and Phase Modulation Systems
- Digital Modulation and Transmission
