- Search the literature to find out what countries are ranked
first, second and third according to the number of new installations
of industrial robots.
- Search the literature to find the top three suppliers
of industrial robots.
- Briefly define each of the following: forward kinematics,
inverse kinematics, velocity (differential) kinematics, inverse
velocity (differential) kinematics, revolute (rotational) joint,
prismatic joint, end-effector and workspace.
- Identify a commercially available manipulator, and provide a
picture of it along with key specifications (number and type of
joints, type of actuators, maximum reach, payload, ...)
